Jubatus is pleased to announce that it has entered into a 5 year supply agreement with Networks New South Wales (NNSW) for the supply of EHV Power Cables. The tender was on the basis of international competitive bidding and was heavily contested by both local and overseas manufacturers. Jubatus was awarded a contract as the preferred supplier for a range of 33kV, 66kV and 132kV cables to NNSW which comprises Ausgrid, Endeavour and Essential Energy.
With an estimated value of around $50 million, the bid attracted significant global interest resulting in a shortlist of two finalists in the EHV class. Jubatus’ success enables the supply of over 50 types of EHV cable into power distribution networks state wide, reaching up to 4.5 million customers, and servicing up to 193,000 substations.
